The Scharf Collection exhibition brings together more than 140 works spanning two centuries, from nineteenth-century art to contemporary production. Ilaria Bonacossa’s selection includes the artists in the title and offers a comparison of different periods of European painting. It runs in Palazzo Ducale’s Sottoporticato from 15 October 2026 to 2 May 2027, according to the current programme and ticket shop.

Announced hours are Monday 14:30–19:30; Tuesday to Thursday and Sunday 10:00–19:30; Friday and Saturday 10:00–20:00. The ticket shop lists Piazza Matteotti 5 for the Sottoporticato. Check your ticket for access instructions and any holiday changes.

As checked on 14 September, the official shop offers a promotional Open ticket for €18, including the booking fee, for purchases by 14 October; the stated regular price is €20.
