Giornate Nazionali del Cinema per la Scuola takes place on 4–6 November 2026 at Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa in Palermo. Organised by Italy’s Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Education and Merit under the CIPS programme, it brings together teachers, school leaders and audiovisual education professionals for training on cinema in schools.

Participation is reserved for accredited schools. School registration runs from 1 September to 16 October 2026 through the portal linked from giornatecinemascuola.it; the organisers envisage approximately five delegates per school. After general accreditation, each participant must register for individual sessions once the programme is released. The registration page still has “2025” in its URL, but explicitly presents the 2026 edition.

Planned activities include masterclasses, workshops, training seminars and national film previews. The detailed programme was not yet published on 14 September, so this listing does not give an unconfirmed opening or closing time. Check the official schedule, accreditation requirements and participation conditions before arranging travel.

The venue is at Via Paolo Gili 4. Registration and programme enquiries can be sent to comunicazione.cips@istruzione.it. This listing is a guide to the professional event and does not provide accreditation.
