Choose your arrival stop before planning the journey

Buses from Bergamo airport reach different parts of Brescia depending on the operator. SACBO lists Autostradale for Autostazione Nord beside the railway station and Busitalia for Poliambulanza on the metro network. Compare the arrival stop with your accommodation before buying.

Bresciapp!: timetables and ticket activation

In Bresciapp!, “Linee e orari” covers buses and metro, while “Mappa” calculates journeys between an origin and destination. “Biglietti” sells ordinary and day tickets. The operator requires tickets bought in the app to be activated within 24 hours of purchase: buying early does not let you keep a ticket indefinitely.

Bergamo: check the operator and stop

On Milan Bergamo Airport’s bus page, find “Cities” and the Brescia stop you need. Follow that operator’s link for times, luggage and tickets. Autostazione Nord and Poliambulanza are different arrival points; do not treat them as interchangeable when planning the last part of your journey.

Residence: ANPR or the municipal form

The municipal page distinguishes cases supported by ANPR from first registration arriving from abroad and other situations. Without digital identity, or outside the online categories, consult the form and attachments. demografici.anagrafe@pec.comune.brescia.it accepts ordinary email; in-person visits require booking under Servizi demografici → Anagrafe → residenza, at Broletto or a decentralised office.

TARI: check your notice and the year’s calendar

The municipality links Sportello Tari among its thematic sites. Its 2026 deadlines page lists a revised calendar: second or single instalment on 16 September, third on 16 October and fourth on 16 December. Check your notice; these dates are not a permanent annual calendar.

For billing questions, the municipal source lists 800 437678 and tia.aprica@a2a.it. When arranging a home, distinguish tenancy terms from service obligations. The Italy guide covers national tenancy information.

Two supermarket examples within Brescia

Conad’s list includes Sapori & Dintorni at Piazza della Vittoria 2/A and Conad at via San Bartolomeo 23, alongside shops in other municipalities. Select a store and use the address checker to distinguish collection from delivery. These are location examples, without promises of stock, universal coverage or a personal review.

ASST desk for Brescia and Collebeato

On “Iscrizione al SSN — Sportelli scelta e revoca”, expand “Sedi e modalità di accesso”. For Brescia and Collebeato, ASST lists the Casa di Comunità at viale Duca degli Abruzzi 13 and frontoffice.bresciacentro@asst-spedalicivili.it. Check eligibility, documents and current opening hours; the ATS headquarters address is not a substitute for this desk.

Nurseries: regular and late applications differ

As checked on 14 September 2026, the nidi and sezioni primavera page shows regular applications closed. A separate “sezioni primavera fuori termine” page covers children born in 2024, directing families to Ufficio Iscrizioni at Piazza della Repubblica 1. Check availability and documents there before visiting.

“Educazione e formazione” lists meals, prescuola and transport separately, alongside fee estimators. Choose the service for your child’s age and school stage; one application does not automatically confirm the other services.

Aprica: find the calendar by building number

On Aprica’s Brescia page, “Calendario di raccolta” opens Servizi di Zona and asks for the full address including building number. The same tool covers street sweeping and washing. Use your street’s schedule instead of a generic city calendar.

For furniture and other large objects, use ingombranti booking; for drop-off, consult Centri di raccolta. Check accepted materials and conditions before transporting items.

ZTL permissions depend on the entrance

Brescia Mobilità separates permits for residents, garage users, businesses and other categories. Piazza della Loggia, via Cardinal Querini and corso Zanardelli have specific rules. Check the exact entrance, registration plate and journey purpose; permission for another part of the ZTL may not apply.

The municipal mobility portal offers applications, renewals and permit changes. Use the linked national chapter for driving-licence, vehicle and winter-equipment rules.

Month-by-month climate and wetter periods

In this historical reference, the three months with the highest estimated precipitation are November, May, October. Values below show average air temperature and approximate monthly precipitation. They are neither maximum/minimum temperatures nor a forecast for next year.

  • January: 3.0 °C · 44 mm
  • February: 4.6 °C · 60 mm
  • March: 8.7 °C · 59 mm
  • April: 12.9 °C · 80 mm
  • May: 17.4 °C · 97 mm
  • June: 22.1 °C · 77 mm
  • July: 24.8 °C · 68 mm
  • August: 24.4 °C · 85 mm
  • September: 19.4 °C · 77 mm
  • October: 14.2 °C · 90 mm
  • November: 8.6 °C · 118 mm
  • December: 4.0 °C · 64 mm

Method: NASA POWER, 2001–2020 climatology at a city reference point; T2M in °C and PRECTOTCORR in mm/day multiplied by days in each month (February: 28.25). Rounded gridded MERRA-2-derived estimates, not observations at a neighbourhood station. Terrain, urban heat and distance from the sea can change local conditions.

Use the figures to compare ventilation, insulation and heating. Plan rain protection in wetter periods and shaded routes with drinking water in heat. For specific dates, use forecasts and Protezione Civile/municipal alerts. Monthly averages cannot predict a storm, flood or heatwave.

Use the municipal channel for your request

The Comune homepage groups “Prenotazione appuntamento”, “Richiesta assistenza” and “Segnalazione disservizio”. Choose appointments for a visit, assistance for service questions and reporting for a problem in the city. The website also publishes cultural activities and neighbourhood Bibliobus visits.

If this guide becomes outdated, send the affected URL and a current source through MyCommunity.Living’s contact page. Italian service names are retained so you can find them on official websites.
