Test your route during school hours too

Route 9 has a diversion near Racagni school: via Bocchi closes on school days, Monday–Friday, 07:40–08:40 and 16:20–16:45. TEP lists alternative stops at via La Grola/San Pier Damiani and via Savani/Bocchi.

When viewing housing around Pablo/Crocetta, check the journey at your actual commuting or school-run time. A stop shown on a map may change by time of day. National moving procedures are collected in the Italy guide.

2026 fares and the Teseo app

Since 1 January 2026, a TEP urban ticket costs €2 for 80 minutes, eight journeys cost €14.50 and a day ticket costs €6.30. Urban coverage is zone 200; travel beyond it needs the appropriate fare. The day ticket lasts through that day’s night service.

TEP’s listed app is Teseo: it plans routes and stores purchased tickets. On the bus, scan the displayed QR to validate a digital ticket. A paper QR ticket is read by the green machine; buying and validating are separate steps.

Airport: route 6 and the night-service limit

Route 6 links Giuseppe Verdi airport with the station and centre; the station–airport trip takes about 15 minutes. The stop is near the terminal entrance. Use the €2 urban ticket and check the timetable for your date.

For scheduled arrivals after 20:00, TEP lists flight-linked departures and accommodation of delays until service ends: midnight Sunday–Thursday, 01:30 Friday and Saturday. This does not mean unlimited waiting for any flight; check an alternative if a delay exceeds that limit.

Arriving from abroad without SPID: another route

Registration for arrivals from abroad uses the municipal portal. Without SPID/CIE/CNS/eIDAS, you can create an email-based username/password account, then download, sign and attach the declaration.

For DUC assistance, book on 0521 40521. Check the source’s EU or non-EU attachments and housing documents. This page concerns arrivals from abroad, rather than moves between Italian municipalities.

Housing: guidance and mediation serve different needs

Sportello Multifunzionale Casa is at viale Vittorio Bottego 2/A and advises on housing policies and idoneità alloggiativa. Its page lists Monday and Wednesday 08:30–13:00, Thursday 08:30–13:00 and 14:30–17:30; on closed days, appointments only.

AbitAbile provides free mediation for rent difficulties classified as morosità incolpevole, including cases where eviction proceedings have started. Contact abitabile@comune.parma.it or the desk to assess applicable support. It is not a list of homes available to any newcomer.

Emilia Ovest: use the store’s listed address

Despite the name Esselunga di via Emilia Ovest, the official listing gives via Napoleone Colajanni, phone 0521 293175. On 14 September 2026, hours were Monday–Saturday 07:30–21:00 and Sunday 08:00–20:00.

Use that location when planning shopping with bags or locker collection. The presence of this service does not confirm stock, an available collection slot or delivery to your address.

AUSL: send the request to the correct district

For online registration in Parma district, AUSL lists autocertificazioniparma@pec.ausl.pr.it, accepting ordinary email and PEC. The page asks for a form, identity document and tessera sanitaria; special cases receive instructions in the reply, due within 30 days. If this is your first registration and you have no card, explain that to the service.

Residents can choose or change a doctor at a desk, through the indicated email channel or via Fascicolo Sanitario Elettronico. FSE selection has conditions; registration, a doctor’s availability and choosing outside the usual area are separate decisions.

Nurseries 2026/2027: late applications ended in August

The ordinary deadline was extended to 21 February at 20:00. The municipal page distinguishes two late lists, for applications through 30 June and from 1 July to 31 August; both windows had ended by the 14 September 2026 check. Servizio attivo does not mean applications are open.

New arrivals should ask servizionidi@comune.parma.it or 0521 40521 about later options and documents. State the birth year and residence situation; do not arrange work around a place that has not been assigned.

Outside collection days: choose the right Ecostation

Ecostations, including those at scambiatore Est and Ovest car parks, operate 24 hours with an Ecocard or the waste-account holder’s tessera sanitaria. Mini Ecostations on via Verdi and piazzale Paer accept only residual waste and plastic/metal.

In Iren’s calendar, select municipality, area and user type for doorstep collection. Residual waste deposited at an Ecostation counts towards metered charging; deposits above the minimum can incur charges. Do not treat these stations as unlimited free disposal.

ZTL and Tommasini–Sauro: different permissions

Infomobility offers €5 two-hour and €10 daily ZTL permits, which must be activated before use. The Tommasini–Sauro isola ambientale operates 24 hours and requires its own permission; a ZTL ticket does not automatically authorise that area.

For removals or deliveries, confirm the route with Front Office at viale Mentana 29/A. Parking rules depend on zone and signs; Tap&Park and EasyPark handle blue-space payments, but do not assume any parking payment includes ZTL access.

Month-by-month climate and wetter periods

In this historical reference, the three months with the highest estimated precipitation are November, October, May. Values below show average air temperature and approximate monthly precipitation. They are neither maximum/minimum temperatures nor a forecast for next year.

  • January: 3.4 °C · 41 mm
  • February: 5.1 °C · 58 mm
  • March: 9.2 °C · 57 mm
  • April: 13.6 °C · 67 mm
  • May: 18.4 °C · 75 mm
  • June: 23.7 °C · 58 mm
  • July: 26.7 °C · 48 mm
  • August: 26.3 °C · 56 mm
  • September: 20.8 °C · 62 mm
  • October: 15.2 °C · 77 mm
  • November: 9.2 °C · 94 mm
  • December: 4.1 °C · 55 mm

Method: NASA POWER, 2001–2020 climatology at a city reference point; T2M in °C and PRECTOTCORR in mm/day multiplied by days in each month (February: 28.25). Rounded gridded MERRA-2-derived estimates, not observations at a neighbourhood station. Terrain, urban heat and distance from the sea can change local conditions.

Use the figures to compare ventilation, insulation and heating. Plan rain protection in wetter periods and shaded routes with drinking water in heat. For specific dates, use forecasts and Protezione Civile/municipal alerts. Monthly averages cannot predict a storm, flood or heatwave.

DUC for guidance; Comuni-chiamo for street problems

URP and Front Office are on level -1 of DUC, largo Torello de’ Strada 11/a. For guidance, use 0521 40521 or urp@comune.parma.it.

Comuni-chiamo accepts reports such as potholes, damaged pavements and dumped waste and provides the municipality’s response. Identify the location and problem; do not use this channel for emergencies. Send guide corrections to MyCommunity with the passage, source and date.
