Prato Centrale, Prato Porta al Serraglio and Prato Borgonuovo are separate stations. The Firenze–Lucca line serves all three; the Bologna–Firenze connection also serves Centrale. Before choosing housing, check the station and stops of the train serving your destination.

On 14 September 2026, the urban capoluogo ticket cost €2 and lasted 70 minutes in Prato after validation. Firenze’s 90-minute validity and described rail integration do not automatically extend to Prato–Firenze journeys.

Under Linee e orari, select Prato and distinguish urban from extraurban routes. Open the route, direction and appropriate calendar; check notices before leaving. For rail travel, check the relevant rail product.

To assess a journey via Firenze, first check the train from your Prato station, then GEST’s T2 serving Peretola Aeroporto. Locate the transfer on the map; the generic name “Firenze” does not identify a tram stop.

The Orari page separates directions, first and last departures and weekdays. Allow for moving between platforms, luggage and waiting. For very early or late flights, confirm that both legs operate when needed.

The 19 December 2024 territorial agreement divides Prato into six zones identified through the property’s cadastral map sheets. The municipal page provides the zone division, contract templates and allocation of costs between landlord and tenant.
