Description
Victor Man’s exhibition at Museo Novecento brings together around 25 paintings curated by Sergio Risaliti in the ground-floor rooms of the Ex Leopoldine. Portraits, self-portraits, motherhood and still life reveal recurring themes in his work. Announced works include Maternity with Legend and paintings from Luminary Petals on a Wet Black Bough. Comune di Firenze promotes the exhibition with support from Galerie Max Hetzler and David Zwirner Gallery.
The exhibition runs from 26 September 2026 to 7 March 2027 at Piazza Santa Maria Novella 10, Florence. The museum opens from 11 am to 8 pm and closes on Thursdays; last admission is 7 pm. It closes on 25 December and lists 11 am–8 pm opening on 1 and 6 January. Times are local, and the date range does not mean daily opening.
On 14 September 2026, full museum admission was €13, with a €9 reduced rate for ages 18–25 and university students. Free-admission categories require proof and have specific conditions; confirm eligibility before buying. Guided visits and activities cost extra. Booking is strongly recommended because capacity is limited: use the municipal museums’ ticket portal or contact info@musefirenze.it and +39 0550541450.
The museum lists entrances from Piazza Santa Maria Novella and Via Palazzuolo. This exhibition occupies the ground floor. The museum describes itself as accessible except for the mezzanine workshop, so confirm individual needs if combining the visit with activities. Free cloakroom storage is provided for items not allowed in galleries. Photography and filming require museum permission.
